Egyptian army kills 7 militants in Sinai

Egyptian army killed Tuesday seven militants in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah cites, Youm7 News reported.
Security sources said that the army had launched several raids targeting terrorist hideouts in Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah. They managed to kill seven militants and arrest13 others.
The sources added that the army destroyed a number of terrorist outposts and seized five vehicles used in terrorist attacks.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
