Egypt's Health Minister, Adel Adwy sent Tuesday a medical convoy to the area which has witnessed the Italian Consulate bombing to deliver medical services for residents upon instructions of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, al-Bawaba News reported. The convoy included 11 specialties as well as a medical laboratory and X-ray examination center. The mission was also provided with a large amount of medications and other medical equipment. The Islamic State (IS) terrorist group on Saturday attacked the Italian consulate in Cairo by detonating a car bomb in front of the Leonardo Da Vinci Art Institute, a building linked to the consulate, leaving one dead and 10 injured.
