Egyptian political parties condemned the terrorist attack that hit a building linked to the Italian consulate Saturday morning in Cairo leaving one killed and nine injured, Al Bawaba News reported. Al Noor party secretary, Galal Morra denounced the attack, stressing that such acts will not undermine Egyptians' determination but will increase the chances of national unification and hasten the end of the terrorists. Al Sadat party director, Effat Al Sadat condemned the attack pointing out that these operations seek to target foreign interests in Egypt before the opening of the Suez Canal. Al Sadat stressed on the need to intensify the security measures around foreign consulates, as well as public figures since the terrorist groups are trying, in various ways, to spread chaos and disrupt foreign interests.
