Al Azhar denounces terrorist attack on Saudi mosque

Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed Al Tayeb condemned Friday the terrorist explosion that hit a Shiite mosque in Dammam district, east Saudi, Al Bawaba News reported Friday.
Al Tayeb denounced, in a statement, the attack which took place during prayers leaving three dead and seven injured, stressing "the sanctity of blood and of the houses of God", and "respect for the brotherhood of Islam".
Al Tayeb urged Muslims to respect religious ethics regardless sectarian variation, and not to be deceived by calls that seek to ignite sectarian strife.
