Egypt's armed forces spokesperson Brigadier General, Mohamed Samir released Wednesday aerial footage of Egyptian air strikes against Islamic State-linked Wilayat Sinai militants in support of the ground military operations in Sheikh Zuweid. The footage, released on the army's spokesperson official page on Facebook, showed strikes against the militants as they were fleeing the clashes scene in the province. The Sinai peninsula has witnessed intensive clashes between the Egyptian armed forces and the IS-affiliated militants in different places after a number of terrorist attacks that hit military posts in Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah cities.
