At least 20 militants were killed during clashes between Islamic State (IS) militants and Taliban in the west of Afghanistan, sources in the Afghan army who asked to remain anonymous told RT. Spokesman of the Afghan army said that the clashes began on Sunday night in Farah province on the borders between Afghanistan and Iran. The military official said that10 militants, at least, were killed on Monday from both sides, while Taliban captured 12 IS militants, including four women. The clashes between Taliban and IS are the second of its kind this month. the first clash took place in Afghanistan's eastern city of Nangarhar on May 16. It left three Taliban leaders dead.
