Italy wants to participate and invest in national projects in Egypt, especially in the project of creating a global logistics center for grain and food commodities by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Damietta. They also offered to set up a joint venture for the construction of silos and logistics areas in addition to the development of wheat storage places. This came during a meeting held by Khaled Hanafi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, with a delegation from the Italian Embassy in Cairo, according to Al-Bawabh News. Hanafi Announced after the meeting that the Italian delegation offered to establish logistical areas for grain, vegetables and fruits. The minister pointed out that the Egyptian-Italian alliance comes in the framework of alliances that were set up with several Arab and foreign countries, investors and global companies.
