Egypt's military killed Wednesday a Wilayat Sinai terrorist group leader in Al-Arish, North Sinai, security sources told Al-Bawaba News. Mohamed Hassan Aqtifan, leader of a terrorist cell in charge of murdering three judges in Al-Arish May 17 and targeting police stations, and another two terrorists, were killed during a crackdown over a farm where the militants were hiding, the sources added. The Sinai Peninsula has been home to a string of deadly blasts claiming lives of hundreds, particularly after former president Mohamed Morsi was ousted July 2013.
