Italian delegation of investors will visit Egypt on May 24 to follow the agreements concluded during the recent economic conference in March, Egypt's Ambassador to Rome Amr Helmy said. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Carlo Calenda is scheduled to head the Italian delegation. According to the Egyptian diplomat, the investment opportunities in Egypt will top the talks between the Italian businessmen and the Egyptian officials. They will also discuss the possibility of launching a permanent navigation rout between the two Mediterranean countries. The coming visit is not the first of its kind for Italy's investors to Egypt. It is the fourth visit since January to express their aspiration to work in the country. The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Italy rose to 5.180 billion euros in 2014 against 4.702 billion euros in 2013.
