Academy of Scientific Research and Technology will organize "Cairo Innovates" the first Cairo International Exhibition of Innovation on November 19-20, at The Greek Campus, in cooperation with NGO entitled "Nahdet el-Mahrousa" or (Renaissance of Egypt). The event is a part of the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week, and aims to increase the country's productivity and competitiveness, to overcome poverty and inequality, according to the event's Facebook page. "Cairo Innovates" is the first event that gathers innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs in addition to banks, civil society representatives, with presence of media outlets in the same place. It is expected that "Cairo Innovates" will include sessions, workshops, competitions, panels, and other activities. The exhibition targets to motivate scientific innovation in Egypt by giving local innovators the chance to exhibit inventions.
