Egyptian Border Guards killed three Palestinian militants on Wednesday while they were attempting to infiltrate Egypt's Rafah city from the Gaza Strip through tunnels, Sky News Arabia reported. Reports affirmed that the militants were dressed in the Egyptian military uniform. The Egyptian army has not commented on the incident yet. The military is in the process of destroying the tunnels that link the Gaza Strip to the Egyptian territories. These tunnels pose a serious threat to the Egyptian national security as they are often used to smuggle weapons, drugs and Jihadi militants into the Sinai Peninsula.
