Egypt's parties launching a unified initiative to amend the elections' laws asked president Abdelfatah Elsisi on Sunday not to approve the law until they reach a consensus on the final amendments, Al-Bawaba News reported. "It is inevitable for the president not to approve the law until we show him what we agreed upon completely," the 30 parties sharing in the initiative stressed in a statement. Among the parties launching the initiave are Elwafd, the Conservatives, Eleslah Wal Tanmya party, the Natinal Movement party, Dignity party, Popular Socialist Alliance party, the future party, Eltagamoa party, and the Egyptian Social Democratic party.
