The ruler of south east Niger city of Diva, Yakobo Somana Gaw commanded the residents of Tchad lake islands to evacuate their homes over Boko Haram threats, Al Bawaba News cited Fox News as reported Friday. In his statement to Fox News, Gaw said: " the army will help citizens moving to main shore under army protection. " An official source stated that the army upon assailing the islands of which the extremists are sheltered. The government announced last week that Boko Haram militias attacked the Karamaga island in Tchad lake caused the death of 156 Nigeria's Boko Haram's militias, 46 of Niger troops in addition to 28 civilians. Niger, Nigeria, Tchad and Cameron share shores over Chad lake.
