Bomb disposal officers defused Sunday an improvised explosive devices near the City Hall in Giza governorate. No casualties have been reported. Security forces were scanning nearby streets when they received a notice about an explosive package near the back gate of the state building. Nearby streets were barricaded and bomb squad officers as well as civil security units were deployed to the scene to inspect the area. The attack is the latest in a series of similar incidents targeting police personnel and checkpoints in several parts of the country.
