The Wall Street Journal reported that Hillary Clinton is ending years of speculation about her political ambition by announcing she's running for president, people familiar with the matter reported Thursday. The Journal's website mentioned Friday that Mrs. Clinton has been assembling a campaign staff and that her team recently signed a lease for an office space in Brooklyn, expected to be the campaign headquarters. The Journal highlighted the fact that Clinton "hadn't made up her mind about running", affirming that any doubts now seem to have evaporated. Clinton is a former United States Secretary of State and U.S. Senator. In the 2008 election, Clinton was a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, which she lost for then-Sen. Barack Obama.
