An International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) plane landed in Yemen's capital Sana'a early Friday carrying the first medical aid to Yemenis since the start of the Saudi-led "Storm of Resolve" military operation against Houthi fighters. "This is the first ICRC plane to have landed in Sana'a. It is loaded with 16 tons of medical aid," Marie-Claire Feghali, spokeswoman for Red Cross said on twitter. Feghali asserted that ICRC has received permission from the Saudi central command to fly in medical supplies and relief workers to Sana'a.
