15 militants killed in army raids in Egypt
Fifteen militants were killed and one other injured during the army raids in the restive north Sinai province in Egypt.
The army targeted areas in Sheikh Zowayed and Rafah with aerial and ground forces, security sources said.
Twenty-five shelters, headquarter and two houses belonging to terrorists were destroyed during the raids, they added.

Pakistan, Egypt agree to boost cooperation in defense sector
Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defence and Defence Production of Egyptian Armed Forces General Sedqy Sobhi Sayed on Tuesday held separate meetings with President Mamnoon Hussain, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Rashad Mahmood and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and discussed issues of mutual cooperation.
Talking to the visiting dignitary, President Mamnoon Hussain called for further expanding and strengthening all aspects of bilateral relations, including defence cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt.
The president said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Egypt. The president stated that there is a potential between the two countries to further enhance partnership in diverse areas especially in defence sector.

Toyota unit plans $1.5bn spend in Egypt's energy
Toyota Tsusho, the trading arm of the Toyota Group, plans to invest $1.5 billion in two projects in Egypt in the sustainable energy sector and Mediterranean natural gas exploration, a report said.
The announcement came during a meeting between Egypt's Ambassador to Japan Ismail Khairat and leaders of Toyota Tsusho, added the Daily News Egypt report.
