The Al Sahb wal Aal coalition against Shiite expansion in Egypt condemned Sunday the Shiite leader, Al Taher Al Hashimy's criticism of the Egyptian army for participating in the ‘Storm of Resolve' military operation launched by Saudi Arabia and GCC states against Houthi militants in Yemen. The coalition coordinator, Waleed Ismael accused Al Hashimy of threatening the Egyptian Army and President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of an uprising, following the example of the U.S. nationals who stood against the "war" on Yemen. Ismael has also accused Egyptian Shiite of implementing an Iranian agenda and igniting sectarian strife in Egypt, by protesting in front of the Saudi embassy in Cairo, over claims that Egypt has participated in the operation upon Saudi "orders." He criticized Al Hashimy for publishing photos of the victims, while Shiite militias are committing heinous crimes against women and elders in Iraq and Syria.
