Egypt's Minister of Industry and Trade, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour described Wednesday the Houthi threats to halt maritime navigation through Bab Al Mandab strait as "declaring war against the entire world." Abdel Nour confirmed that the Yemeni crisis will be of topmost importance in the Arab leaders' summit, scheduled to be held Saturday in Sharm El Sheikh. "I doubt that any force can control the fate of Bab Al Mandab strait, as it will be a declaration of war on the entire world, the strait is the entrance to Suez Canal, the key passageway for World Trade," he said "Iran has become a key player in the region, and can control Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab straits," he added.
