Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil Al Arabi called on Algeria to confront terrorists groups in Libya, diplomatic sources told Al Bawaba News Tuesday. The sources added that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi had asked Al Arabi to urge the Algerian President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika to join Egypt and the Arab countries in their fight against terrorism in Libya. Terrorism in Libya constitutes a threat to several countries in the region, especially Algeria which shares a border with the conflict-torn country. The sources confirmed that Al Arabi held several meetings in Algeria to discuss the Libyan crisis' latest developments and the need to move quickly to counter terrorist organizations in the region.
