Turkey deported four Russians on allegations of attempting to illegally the Turkish-Syrian border to join Islamic State's (IS) ranks in Syria, Moscow Times newspaper reported Friday. The four unidentified Russians were detained in the border city of Kilis by Turkish police and then escorted to Istanbul for deportation to Russia. Head of the Federal Security Service, Alexander Bortnikov said during an anti-terrorism summit in Washington last month that 1,700 Russians are fighting in IS' ranks in Iraq.
