The Libyan governmental troops entered Friday the Bab Al Azizia region, southern Tripoli, after shelling hotbeds of the Fajr Libya Islamic militias, security sources told Al Arabiya. Bab Al Azizia, hometown of late Muammar Qaddafi, has been controlled by the Fajr Libya alliance which established a government in Tripoli, opposed to the internationally recognized legislature and cabinet based in the eastern city of Tobruk. The current developments coincide with the new round of dialogues in Morocco between Libya's main political rivals, organized by Special envoy of the UN Secretary-General and head of the UN mission in Libya, Bernardino Leon.
