International coalition carrys out 15 airstrikes against IS

The international coalition against IS announced Wednesday it carried out 15 airstrikes targeting several Islamic State (IS) positions in Iraq and Syria, according to Al Arabiya News.
The joint task force stated that nine airstrikes were carried out in Syria targeting three IS' sites and several watch towers near the border town of Kobani, since Tuesday.
The force carried out six airstrikes near Iraqi cities of Mosul and Ramadi shelling four IS' sites, in addition to 11 buildings overrun by the extremist group, among other targets.
