Armed forces cracked down Sunday on extremist groups in South Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah, Northern Sinai, killing two suicide bombers and apprehending 15 suspects. Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported that the army succeeded in destroying two cars belonging to extremist groups and seven of their hideouts, in addition to seizing 12 motorcycles. Security sources, who asked to remain anonymous, told MENA that the hideouts were used as a base to carry out attacks on the army and police forces. Tanks also managed to detonate an explosive pack.
