The European Union (EU) condemned Friday terror attacks that happened on Thursday in North Sinai Governorate. The EU foreign affairs chief, Federica Mogherini said that the Union supports Egypt's efforts to address the multiple challenges the country is facing. "The fight against terrorism will remain a priority for the European Union, along with our partners; we need to face this common threat." Mogherini says. The Arab League condemned the brutal act of terrorism, which took place yesterday evening in Arish, North Sinai. Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Al-Araby said that the League stands strongly with Egypt in its war against terrorism, sending his condolences to the families of the victims. He also urged the International community to support Egypt to confront terrorism and to eliminate this global threat. Moreover, Algeria has condemned the terror attacks, stressing on its solidarity with the Egyptian people and the government in their war against terrorism. "Algeria strongly condemns the terror attacks, which targeted the army and security forces in Arish, North Sinai", a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says. The Jordanian government spokesman, Mohammed Al-Momani said that his country has strongly denounced the attacks, stressing that Jordanian government will always support Egypt in all circumstances, particularly in its fight against terrorism. Al-Momani has expressed his country's rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that target Egypt. Also, China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Hua Chunying said that her country rejects and condemns terrorist attacks in Egypt, wishing always the best for it. Yesterday, at least 33 people were killed and dozens injured in 3 terror attacks that targeted army bases in Arish, North Sinai.
