Thousands of supporters of the German movement "Pegida" demonstrated Sunday against Muslims in Germany, and raised anti-Muslims slogans "European loyalists against the Islamization of the West", demanding the deportation of Muslims from Germany. One of the anti-Muslim group's leaders, Gabriel Shunher said: "we are not against Muslims that want to work in Deutschland, we are not Nazis, but those who want to live in Germany must adapt to the culture and habits of this country." German Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed his concern about the impact of the movement on Germany's status abroad, according to "Bild." Moreover, the head of the Central Council of Muslims, Ayman Mazyek denounced the growth of anti-Muslim attacks in Germany, referring to the "insults" against veiled Muslim women and the sabotaging the mosques, in addition to acts of "violence" against the imams of the Muslims. Pegida is a German movement established in 2014 and stands firm against what it claims to be the "Islamization of the western world".
