Huthis leader, Abdul Malik Al-Huthi accused Tuesday the Yemeni President, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of covering corruption and refusing to fight al-Qaeda, in a speech on state TV, following the Huthis' seizure of the presidential palace after heavy clashes with army forces in Sanaa. Al-Huthi stressed that there is no limit to his demands, urging Hadi to take steps towards the implementation of peace and partnership agreement, adding that Huthis don't fear the United Nations Security Council or any other country. Huthis demand radical changes to be applied including Constitutional amendments restoring security. UN Security Council held a closed-door meeting to discuss the Yemeni crisis, attended by UN special envoy to Yemen, Gamal bin Omar, who informed the council that Houthis convinced Yemeni military forces not to fight them, according to Sky News. UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon condemned the latest clashes between Houthi rebels and the presidential guards in the Yemeni capital Sanaa, calling for ending the human loss and the immediate restoration of order in the country. Gulf Cooperation Council states will hold an emergency meeting of foreign ministers Wednesday in Riyadh air base, Saudi Arabia to discuss the crises.
