U.S. Senator and former presidential candidate, John McCain urged Monday the deployment of ground troops in Syria and Iraq to fight the ISIS, during his tour in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Israel. "For months we've been bombing Syrian border town, Kobane and we still haven't driven ISIS out," McCain said. "Since the air campaign started,, ISIS has increased their size and areas of control", he added. McCain stated that the U.S. will establish an aircraft exclusionary zone to provide a buffer in order to train rebels and care of Yizidi and Syrian refugees. Twenty One Hundred American troops were deployed to Iraq recently, to train Iraqi, Kurdish, and Syrian rebel forces, as part of the U.S. long term plan to form an opposition against ISIS. Despite the airstrikes carried out by U.S. led coalition to stop the group's advances, ISIS managed to overrun large swathes of territories in Syria and western Iraq.
