President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met Sunday with Middle East Quartet envoy and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair at the Presidential headquarters in Cairo. During the meeting, Blair appreciated the recent actions taken by President, especially his visit to orthodox cathedral on Christmas, as well as his speech on Prophet Mohamed's birth anniversary that called to correct concepts to face terrorism and extremism. The President declared that his visit to the cathedral aimed to confirm that he is a President of all Egyptians. Al-Sisi added that the terrorism phenomenon is primarily due to the misconception of the true teachings of Islam and Prophet Mohamed, urging Blair to transfer the true ideas and approaches of Islam to Western societies, expressing his condemnation of all acts of terrorism.
