Al-Ahly Coaching staff decided to travel to Algeria on February 19, in preparation for the African Super match against Algeria's Entente Setif on Feb. 21. The African Super match is always held between the two African teams who win the African Confederation Cup and the African Champions League titles. Al Ahly won their first African Confederation Cup title last December with a dramatic 1-0 win over Ivorians Sewe Sport in Cairo. While Entente Setif, of Algeria, won the African Champions League title also for the first time in 26 years after beating AS Vita Club, of the Democratic Republic of Congo in last November. Egyptian Red Devils claimed a record sixth Orange CAF Super Cup in 2014 after it defeated CS Sfaxien of Tunisia 3-2 in the final match at Cairo International stadium. Ahly aims to complete back to back Super Cup wins, trying to overtake DR Congo's TP Mazembe and Enyimba of Nigeria who achieved the African title for six times.
