Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Head, Ahmed el-Wakeel said Saturday that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi visit to Saudi Arabia after his inauguration represents confirmation on the political will of the two countries to achieve economic integration. His statements came during Saudi-Egyptian Business Council Conference, and Wakeel added that Saudi delegation visit to the country serves as a message that Egypt opens its doors to the private sector. Federation Head noted that Saudi Arabia comes in the first place regarding investments in Egypt, and the number of Saudi projects in Egypt reached to 2800 project, which represent $ 27 billion, while the trade volume exceeded $ 5 billion. Furthermore tourism from Saudi Arabia accounts for about 20 percent of Arab tourism in Egypt, and more than 1.8 million Egyptians work in Saudi Arabia, as well as the size of the Saudi community in Egypt exceeds half a million Saudis.
