Automated corporeal registry

A JOINT protocol to automate the corporeal registry of agricultural lands was recently signed between the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (CIT) and the Ministry of Water Resources, in the presence of Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.
The three-year protocol aims at simplifying procedures required for the registration of agricultural lands and monitoring the performance of corporeal registries all over the country. Moreover, it seeks to encourage investment in agriculture while enabling citizens to work through a single governmental entity when applying for a specific service.
In the first phase of the automation, paper maps will be converted into digital ones. In addition, digital maps and corporeal registry journals will be stored on different databases, eventually establishing a complete geographical database.
Afterwards, the Ministry of CIT will found a corporeal registry information centre to be used by the Ministry of Justice and connect it with another information centre in order to further enhance the ministry's services.
