The sculpture will be placed in front of the entrance of the Palace of Arts building for six month until next October. Excavations at the Eastern Entrance of Egypt,” exhibition deals with the results of excavations of Egyptian and foreign missions in 15 archaeological sites east and west of the Suez Canal; discoveries of military castles and the history of military architecture discovered across North Sinai in the Qalaa road between Egypt and Palestine from the Middle Kingdom era through the Second Transition, the New Kingdom, through 25 explanatory panels supported by pictures and information for those recent discoveries. The opening will be accompanied by a series of lectures on 13 July at the Auditorium, where researchers will submit a number of papers on the role of modern Egyptian archeological discoveries in the Suez Canal (13-30 July).
