Thurs 22, 9.30pm: Al-Waziri band comes from Ismailia to perform. Founded in Ismailia in 1994 in cooperation with Mohamed Al-Waziri, the "King of Simsimia", as he was called among the Canal Zone people. When Al-Waziri met Zakaria Ibrahim, they dreamt of replicating Al Tanbura experience that flourished in Port Said by gathering the retired suhbagia (local musicians of this tradition) and presenting a weekly performance in Ismailia. After his death in 2008, the band changed their name to Al-Waziri in honour of their leader.
Sat 24, 9.30pm: A special night with Estabena (we agree) band. Estabena is a band formed by artists from different Mediterranean cultures and nationalities. They perform a blend of songs from Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Spain, France, Italy, Lebanon and Syria. Estabena is an Egyptian word borrowed from the Italian language, which means “we agree”.

Thurs 29, 6 and 8pm: El Sawy Culturewheel Puppet Theatre show brings the late diva Um Kolthoum back on stage performing two of her much-loved songs, Anta Omry (You Are My Life) and Anta Al-Hob (You Are Love).
Sat 1 July, 8pm: Marco and Friends band performs Egyptian and foreign oldies.
Tues 4, 7.30pm: A concert of classical Arab music and songs features Al-Khan band.
Thurs 6, 8pm: Afro-Nubia band is composed of young people united by love of music extends South from Aswan and Nubia into the African continent, and mixed with the music of the Caribbean summarized in reggae.
