Fri 31, 2-5pm: An outdoor dance work entitled The Birds' Murmuration (UK/Egypt), choreographed by Meritxell Checa with artistic assistants: Nadenh Poan and Christian Brinklow. What makes the birds move and dance? Why together, why alone? Why to the right, why to the left, why up, down, in circles? Why like that? The Birds' Murmuration is a celebration of the pleasure of moving just as we are, just as we feel, just as we like. The disabled and non-disabled dance artists of the Stopgap project have collaborated with their counterparts in Cairo to create The Birds' Murmuration short dance work.
