Tel 02 3345 9939 Thurs 13, 10.30pm: Eslam Al-Shaary will feature a musically-rich evening with his unique sound of world fusion music which includes an array of wonderfully mastered and intriguing instruments. Next up, the very exciting Kuwait-based alternative electronic music artist Zahed Sultan will perform. Creating an audio-visual experience for his audience, Sultan aims for his performances to be interactive, a sort of collaboration between himself and the audience. Fri 14, 10pm: Mohasseb has got the Friday fever and he's passing it on with his progressive house sets that will keep you dancing and jumping all night long. Sat 15, 10.30pm: Alexandrian band Almena (The Harbour) will play guitar-led contemporary Arabic music. Up next, Ahmed Ezz El Ostool will serenade you with his Rai inspired sound, creating an interesting fusion of Arabic sounds. Sun 16, 10.30pm: Italian sensation Eleonora and her all-star band is back to deliver another breathtaking show with their rhythmic Latin jazz. Mon 17, 10pm: Sebzz and Ouzo will be serving up delicious sets of Electronic and Deep House sets. Tues 18, 10.30pm: Swiss-Austrian ensemble Rom-Schaerer-Eberle will feature a concert. Comprising of beat-boxing vocals, a trumpet and a guitar, this unusual combination produces unique jazz music like never heard before. This event is in collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt. Wed 19, 10pm: With Safi on opening duties and Nakhla and Ramsi playing b2b, you can be sure that all your nostalgic house needs will be met for the night. Thurs 20, 10.30pm: The CJC is participating in the Cairo Jazz Festival by hosting the “Beyond Stage” series once again, where it has both local and visiting artists from the festival play at the venue. For the first night, Tara Fuki, a cellist duo from the Czech Republic. Their unique musical style which comprises of the cello and Polish vocals is said to be influenced by different sounds from around the world, therefore defining their sound as alternative world music as well as folk music. Next up, a concert will feature Japanese saxophonist Saori Yano, along with Yuta Kaneko on the organ and Nobuyuki Komatsu on the drums. To close off this already musically-rich evening, The Big Band Society will take to the stage, the 15+ jazz formation will play together creating a jazz sound that is sure to leave a lasting impact.

Sat 15, 8pm: Orange Blossoms band featuring Carlos Robles Arenas (drummer, percussionist and composer), Pierre-Jean Chabot (violinist) and Egyptian singer and Hend Ahmed (vocals) together formed Orange Blossom in 2014. The electronic group is influenced by the French, Mexican and Egyptian backgrounds of its members, creating music that is a mix of eastern and oriental music.
