Sun 1, 8pm: The opening ceremony honours the memory of vernacular poet Abdel-Rahman Al-Abnoudi featuring veteran singers Ali Al-Haggar, Nadia Mustafa, together with a number of the opera stars such as Ayat Farouk and Riham Abdel-Hakim chanting a number of Al-Abnoudi's famous songs, accompanied by the festive orchestra, conducted by Mustafa Helmi.
Mon 2, 8pm: Songs composed by Salah Al-Sharboubi will be chanted by singers Nehad Fathi, Inas Ezzeddin, Mohamed Hassan, Nubian singer Shando and pop singer Rami Sabri. A concert features veteran singer Samira Said (Morocco), accompanied by the festive orchestra, conducted by Mustafa Helmi.
Tue 3, 8pm: SingerBelquis (Yemen) and the festival guest of honour Ahmed Fathi (Yemen). The Arab Idol star Ahmed Gamal (Egypt). Powerful Tunisian voice Saber Al-Rebaai, accompanied by the Orchestra, conducted by Hani Farahat.
