The 24th Arab Music Festival and Conference *Main Hall Sun 1, 8pm: The opening ceremony honours the memory of vernacular poet Abdel-Rahman Al-Abnoudi featuring veteran singers Ali Al-Haggar, Nadia Mustafa, together with a number of the opera stars such as Ayat Farouk and Riham Abdel-Hakim chanting a number of Al-Abnoudi's famous songs, accompanied by the festive orchestra, conducted by Mustafa Helmi. Mon 2, 8pm: Songs composed by Salah Al-Sharboubi will be chanted by singers Nehad Fathi, Inas Ezzeddin, Mohamed Hassan, Nubian singer Shando and pop singer Rami Sabri.
