Police arrest two suspects in Aswan tribal clashes
Recent clashes in the Upper Egypt city of Aswan killed 26 and injured 56, reported triggered by the harassment of a girl

Aswan security forces have arrested two suspects in connection to tribal clashes that took the lives of 26, leaving the number of arrested at 31, Al-Ahram Arabic website reported.
The clashes, which also injured 56, occurred between the Arab clan Bani Helal and Nubian Daboudiya tribes and were reportedly started over the harassment of a girl followed by offensive graffiti from both sides.
Seventeen have been arrested from Daboudiya tribe and 14 from Bani Helal tribe, a security source told Al-Ahram Arabic website.
The prosecution authority has charged them with a number of offences, including murder and inciting murder.
Two of the arrested were apprehended in Cairo after the police was tipped off on their whereabouts, the source added.
The clashes in Aswan lasted for five days ending 9 April. A one month truce was announced 9 April after a series of reconciliation meetings between tribal representatives, government officials and religious figures.
