Salah's breakthrough will be next season, Chelsea spokesman tells Ahram Online
Salah still adapting to Premier League but is committed to proving himself

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho believes Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah will be able to achieve a breakthrough next season, a club spokesman told Ahram Online.
Advising Salah and the Egyptian fans to be more patient, Mourinho says his new team winger needs six months to show his best.
Chelsea beat Liverpool to sign Salah from Swiss side Basel for £15million late January.
Since his arrival at Chelsea, Salah had only managed to make three substitute appearances, totaling 60 minutes.
A Chelsea spokesman told Ahram Online Mourinho strongly believes in Salah's talent.
"He just needs some time to settle and to be more familiar with the Premier League," he added.
The spokesman firmly denied some Egyptian local media reports quoting Mourinho as saying, in British media, that Salah talent “is small”.
However, he added that Mourinho thinks “It will take time for Salah to adapt to the Premier League.”
In a recent interview with the Chelsea Magazine, Salah said he has to take it step by step.
“I know it will not be easy to play every game for Chelsea because we have so many very good players in my position," he added.
According to the spokesman, Chelsea's Portuguese manager argues “It's important for Salah to come step by step and try to improve and adapt”. Mourinho says the England football world Salah came to is different quality of football he comes from.
He has explained earlier that playing at Stamford Bridge is not the same as playing for Basel, pointing out with Basel the players play to enjoy their time and have nothing to lose, while in Chelsea, players have to please 40,000 fans.
In his interview with Chelsea Magazine, Salah, 21, confirmed he is not in hurry and expressed his hope to show how hard he works.
Mourinho thinks “Salah needs six months to adapt our game and the demands of the Premier League”, the spokesman said, adding the manager told Salah he has time “because we have confidence in him” and “next season is Mohamed Salah's breakthrough season.”
In spite of the social media row over the chances he is granted by Mourinho to prove himself, Salah believes moving to Chelsea a fantastic thing for him, hoping to play for the Blues for a long time and carve out a successful career.
