Elmohamady can't help Sunderland against battling West Brom
Egypt winger Ahmed Elmohamady played full 90 minutes in Sunderland's clash against West Bromwich but couldn't prevent his team from suffering another 3-2 defeat

West Bromwich Albion twice came from behind to beat struggling Sunderland 3-2 on Saturday and move up to 10th in the Premier League.
Sunderland ended a four-game run without a goal when West Brom defender Nicky Shorey headed Asamoah Gyan's cross into his own net but Peter Odemwingie tapped in an equalizer from close range in the 28th.
Phil Bardsley sent his side in at halftime with a 2-1 lead with a thumping drive, but the visitors kept up Roy Hodgson's unbeaten record as manager with second-half goals from Youssouf Mulumbu in the 54th and Paul Scharner in the 72nd.
West Brom hasn't lost in six games since Hodgson replaced Roberto di Matteo as manager.
"There are six more games to go and I am certain there are clouds on the horizon," the former Liverpool manager said. "But having said that, if you spend your life worrying about the clouds on the horizon, you forget the sunshine and you lead a pretty miserable life, so at the moment, I am just enjoying the sunshine."
Sunderland hasn't won in eight games and is six points clear of the relegation zone in 13th.
"It's an unbelievable thing, confidence," Sunderland manager Steve Bruce said. "You can see West Brom, a couple of results go for them and all of a sudden, they are very, very confident in what they are doing compared to us."
