Egypt expected to climb in FIFA ranking after Bosnia win
New Egypt coach Shawky Gharib satisfied with 2-0 win over Bosnia in his first game in charge of the national team

Coach Shawky Gharib expects Egypt's FIFA ranking to improve after their victory over Bosnia on Wednesday.
Two second-half goals from Gedo and Mohamed Salah gave Egypt a 2-0 victory over Bosnia in Austria, Gharib's first game in charge.
Gedo opened the scoring seven minutes after the restart with a clinical finish before Chelsea's Salah ensured the win with a close-range effort as Egypt start a new phase under Gharib, who replaced Bob Bradley following the team's failure to qualify for this year's World Cup finals in Brazil.
"I am happy for the friendly win over Bosnia as it will help the national team to advance in the FIFA world ranking this month," Gharib was quoted as saying after the game on the football association's official website.
Egypt fell seven positions to 38 in the FIFA global football ranking for February, after placing 31 in January as they had not played since they lost 7-3 on aggregate to Ghana in the World Cup playoffs.
Portugal-based defender Ali Ghazal, who plays for Nacional, Ittihad El-Shorta striker Khaled Qamar and Ahly's promising forward Amr Gamal made their Egypt debuts in a largely unfamiliar starting line-up.
"The newly selected players gave a harmonious performance and they will continue in the squad," Gharib added.
"The door of the Egypt national team is open for all new faces that perform well in the league.
"I thank all the players and technical staff for their efforts throughout the game," he concluded.
The Pharaohs, winners of a record seven African Cup of Nations (CAN) trophies, are preparing for the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
