Police and military personnel bring down a Downtown Cairo security wall in Qasr El-Aini street, a major thoroughfare leading to Tahrir Square. The wall was erected in late 2011 to prevent protesters from gaining access to the nearby interior ministry's headquarters and the buildings housing Egypt's upper house of parliament and cabinet headquarters.
