One killed as police and Brotherhood supporters clashes in Nile Delta
Clashes between security forces and pro-Morsi protesters in the Nile Delta left one dead and another injured

Clashes between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and security forces in Damietta in the Nile Delta on Monday afternoon left one person killed.
The Damietta specialised hospital recieved the body of the 26-year-old slain man, who was stabbed in the chest. He was not a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.
Al-Ahram added that another person was stabbed in several parts of his body and was in the hospital for treatment.
Clashes broke out after Muslim Brotherhood members took to the streets against the interim-government in a march leaving from Al-Madbuli mosque. Protesters allegedly carried bladed weapons and guns loaded with birdshot, Al-Ahram reported.
Supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi have been holding almost daily protests since his ouster in July, with numbers of participants gradually falling amid a security crackdown on members and leaders of the Islamist group.
Last Friday, the Ministry of Health announced that at least five people were killed in several governorates, including Damietta, in clashes between Pro-Morsi protesters, local residents and police.
The pro-Morsi protests are now challenging both the protest law and a recent government decision to declare the group a terrorist organisation.
The protest law passed in late November forbids demonstrations without prior police consent. Violators risk jail sentences and hefty fines.
The government has blamed the Islamist group for orchestrating attacks on its buildings and security personnel since the ouster of Morsi. The Muslim Brotherhood denies the accusations.
