Squash: Egypt's Ashour, Shabana through to World Championship quarters

Egyptian duo Amr Shabana and Ramy Ashour have qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Squash Championship in Manchester after overcoming Colombia's Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Australia's Cameron Pilley respectively.
Reigning world champion Ashour remained unbeaten at the National Squash Centre after defeating Pilley 3-1. He lost the first game 9-11 but stormed back to win three successive games 11-8, 11-4 and 12-10.
Four-time champion Shabana also went through following a 3-0 (11-6, 11-5, 11-9) victory over Rodriguez in 37 minutes.
Omar Mosaad was not as lucky as his compatriots after slumping to a 3-1 loss to Englishman Nick Matthew.
Fellow Egyptians Mohamed El Shorbagy, Karim Darwish and Tarek Momen are also in action later on Wednesday.
