The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has agreed to postpone the second-leg of the Champions League final for one day until Sunday 10 November at 6pm Cairo time (GMT+2). "The CAF agreed to Ahly's request to postpone the away match of the final for one day after the technical staff made the request due to injury concerns," Ahly football sector manager Hadi Khashaba told their official website on Thursday. The Egyptian champions are scheduled to return home on 3 November, one day after playing in Johannesburg against Orlando Pirates in the first leg of the final. "[Ahly coach] Mohamed Youssef had worries about the short break between the two games and feared his players could suffer from fatigue," Khashaba added. The Cairo-based club is hoping to play the final at the Air Defence stadium with fans in attendance but they are yet to receive security approval. Most Egyptian football matches are being held behind closed doors at Gouna stadium in Hurghada, more than 400km away from the capital, due to security concerns. The arena doesn't have floodlights so it cannot host the final which is an evening kickoff.
