LIVE: African World Cup qualifiers playoff draw The draw will be held at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo at 12:00 local time (10:00GMT)
The Draw ceremony will be attended by FIFA Vice President and CAF chief, Issa Hayatou, FIFA Director of Competitions, Mustapha Fahmy. The Angolan Ambassador in Egypt will also attend as well as Egypt and Burkina Faso coaches Bob Bradley and Paul Put. Gordon Savic, Head of FIFA World Cup & Olympic Qualifiers Competitions, will conduct the draw along with CAF Secretary General, Hicham El Amrani. Egypt is looking for their third World Cup ticket and their first since 1990. They missed the 2010 edition after losing to Algeria in an intense tie. No, please) Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Algeria, Tunisia have been placed in Pot 1 while Egypt, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Senegal and Ethiopia have been placed in Pot 2.
