Club Africain's friendly game against modest Tunisian side Hammam-Lif could be a sterner test than the one they would face against Egypt's Zamalek, manager Kais Yaakoubi said. Hammam-Lif held their fancied opponents to a 2-2 draw in Club Africain's last match before their home meeting against Zamalek in the first leg of their Champions League round of 32 match. “We had to exert much effort against Hammam-Lif, who fought bravely and played very well,” Yaakoubi said in a brief interview with Tunisian TV. “They proved to be a tough opponent. I don't think Zamalek can play better.” Football in Tunisia and Egypt has been at a standstill for several months following the popular uprisings which forced the presidents of both countries to leave office. Tunisian and Egyptian outfits will lock horns for the first time following the revolts.
