BREAKING: Adly Mansour sworn in as new head of High Constitutional Court, to take presidential oath of office shortly

Adly Mansour was sworn in ashead of the High Constitutional Court (HCC) on Thursday morning. He was appointed to the position in May and his term officially started on 30 June after former leader Judge Maher El-Beheiry reached the retirement age.
The oath included the phrase: "I swear by Almighty God to respect the constitution and the law and to rule with justice."
