Several employees of the national airline Egypt Air have filed a complaint with the attorney general against Ahmed Shafiq, former prime minster and former aviation minister, on allegations of wasting public money. The accusations include ordering that the contract to construct Cairo Airport's Terminal 3 be given to companies of businessmen Magdy Rasekh and Mahmoud El-Gammal, Hosni Mubarak's in-laws, at overinflated prices reaching LE3.3 billion with loans from the World Bank.
