Pro-Morsi protester dies after being shot by opposition: FJP
The Muslim Brotherhood's political arm says a Gamaa Islamiya member died from his wounds after being shot by opposition sympathizers last week in Fayoum governorate

The Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) said on Saturday that a Gamaa Islamiya member has died from gunshot wounds in Egypt's central Fayoum governorate, pointing finger at opposition forces for his death.
The FJP said in a statement that Mohamed Said El-Shalakany, 35, was shot by "the thugs" of the National Salvation Front (NSF), the main opposition umbrella group, and proponents of the anti-Mohamed Morsi Rebel campaign during a rally supporting the president on 16 June.
"The party condemns that criminal act, and offers its condolences to the martyr's family. His blood will be a curse on those who incite violence," the FJP added.
Ahmed Ibrahim Bayoumi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood higher board, had stated on 17 June that the Fayoum clashes involving the supporters and opponents of Morsi were instigated by "remnants" of the former regime and not by anti-government 'Rebel' campaigners.
El-Shalakany, a father of four, was a tourism worker. He was a member of the hard-line Gamaa Islamiya, according to the Brotherhood's satellite channel.
Several pro-Morsi and anti-Morsi demonstrations have been held over the past months in the build-up to 30 June, which is expected to mark mass rallies by opposition to demand snap presidential elections.
The Rebel petition campaign, which declared it had collected 15 million signatures for withdrawing confidence from the president, was first to call for the 30 June demonstrations. All opposition forces including the NSF had adopted the call.
Islamists in support of the president have in turn launched a petition in support of Morsi.
Opponents and supporters of Morsi have engaged in several clashes across Egypt for the past seven months. The deadliest one occurred in December in front of the presidential palace in Cairo's Helioplis district, which left 10 people dead from both camps.
